General FAQ:

 

+ In the event of a school closing due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, how will I be notified?

Check this website for up to date information, click on the school closing icon. Also, if at all possible, you will receive an automated voice message which will be sent to your home.

+ How does my child join the band or chorus?

Contact Mrs. Bowering at tbowering@golf67.net for band and Mrs. Hesse at hhesse@golf67.net for chorus.

+ When does ISAT testing begin/end?

March 12-23, 2007.

+ How prepared are your staff to teach my child?

The majority of our staff hold master's degrees and beyond. In addition, we provide continuous opportunities for our employees to participate in conferences, workshops and additional coursework.

+ Is the district financially stable?

We receive the bulk of our funds from property taxes. There is a legislative tax cap in effect which limits the amount of funding we can receive. Thus far, through fiscal prudence, we have been successful in working within the funds we currently have on hand. We do expect that a referendum will be necessary in the future.
