Co-Principals appointed for Golf Middle School

We are pleased to announce that the members of the Board of Education, at their May 19 meeting, hired two interim co-principals to lead Golf Middle School during the 2008-2009 school year.  Mr.Terry Baranowski and Mr. Dan Farinosi both served as principals in Schaumburg District 54. After retirement, they joined together to work as interim co-principals in East Maine District 63 and are currently serving in that same capacity at Old Orchard Junior High School in Skokie. Both Mr. Baranowski and Mr. Farinosi were highly recommended from each of their school districts. They possess the skill and expertise to effectively continue the tradition of excellence which has been established at Golf Middle School.

 For your information, the Superintendent plans to re-advertise the position of Middle School principal, beginning in October, 2008. Mr. Buchanan anticipates that the Board of Education will be able to name a permanent principal in early 2009.
