At Golf School District 67, we celebrate linguistic and cultural diversity and are committed to supporting students who are English Learners (ELs) at every step of their educational journey.
English Learner (EL) Program
Our English Learner program provides specialized instruction to help students develop proficiency in English while succeeding academically across content areas. Services are delivered by trained staff and are tailored to meet the needs of each student based on language proficiency and academic goals.
Program Highlights

Focus on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills

Support within the general education classroom and/or small group instruction

Collaboration between EL teachers and classroom teachers to ensure student success
Eligibility and Assessment
Students identified through the home language survey and language proficiency screening are eligible to receive EL services. Progress is monitored regularly, and services are adjusted based on student growth.
