Student Services
At Golf School District 67, we are dedicated to meeting the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs of all students through a comprehensive network of supports.
Available Services
- Special Education: Individualized support for students eligible under IDEA, delivered in the least restrictive environment. Services are coordinated in partnership with Niles Township District for Special Education (NTDSE).
- Speech and Language Therapy: Support for students with communication needs, provided by certified therapists.
- Social Work Services: Counseling and group support to help students navigate social and emotional challenges.
- Occupational and Physical Therapy: Specialized services to support students’ physical development and access to learning.
- Section 504 Services: Accommodations and supports for students with disabilities under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
- Early Childhood Special Education: Preventive and remedial services for eligible preschool students.
- Homebound Instruction: Educational services for students unable to attend school due to medical reasons.
- Counseling and Guidance: Developmental counseling services supporting academic, personal, and social growth.
Special Education and Eligibility
Our team follows a comprehensive evaluation process to determine eligibility for special education services. An Individualized Education Program (IEP) is developed for each student who qualifies, ensuring their unique needs are met.
