Bus Transportation
Golf School District 67 offers a fee-based transportation program in partnership with North Shore Transit, ensuring safe and reliable travel for students.
The Board of Education subsidizes this service to keep costs affordable for families. Safety is our top priority, and we rely on the shared responsibility of students, families, staff, and drivers to maintain a secure and respectful transportation environment.
Bus Passes
All District 67 students must have a valid bus pass to ride the regular morning and afternoon routes.
- Students must carry their bus pass at all times and present it upon request.
- Lost bus passes can be replaced at the district office for $5.
Bus Safety
Bus Routes
- Routes are established at the beginning of the school year and remain unchanged.
- Students must use their assigned bus and stop—riding a different bus or changing stops is not allowed.
- Transportation to and from a friend’s home is a family’s responsibility. The school will not adjust busing arrangements during the school day.
Bus Schedules & Delays
- Buses operate as close to the scheduled times as possible, though delays may occur due to weather, traffic, or maintenance.
- In case of significant delays, the District Office will notify families via phone and email.
- Students must be at their designated stop at least 5-10 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time.
- After-school drop-offs may vary by up to 10 minutes past the estimated arrival time.
- Drivers cannot wait for late students and will only stop at designated locations per state law.
