Board Members

In accordance with Illinois School Code (105 ILCS 5/33-1), Golf School District 67 is governed by an elected 7-member Board of Education.  All members are elected at-large to four-year terms, representing all residents in the District’s boundaries.  Board members serve the District 67 community, the students and the staff. 

Board elections are held every two years during the month of April as part of the consolidated election cycle in odd numbered years. Board members are volunteers who do not receive a salary for their services.

Nada has lived in Morton Grove since 2008, when she and her husband moved there from Evanston. Nada has two children, with one still in the district. Nada has a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Minnesota and a law degree from Chicago-Kent Law School. She is employed as a corporate attorney for a Chicagoland company and has been serving on the board since 2015.

Jemaine Lindsay works as a Director in a business and technology consulting firm headquartered in Chicago. He has been a resident of Morton Grove since 2004 and currently has two children in the district. Jermaine graduated from Evanston Township High, then went on to earn a bachelor's degree (BS) from the University of Illinois - Urbana, and a Master's degree (MS) from Depaul University. As an immigrant to the US, he has experienced first-hand the transformative power that a quality education can have on one's life and every generation that follows. This experience informs his approach and commitment as a board member to create opportunities for all students to have access to a high-quality education in a great school district.

Shanna Yetman has lived in Niles with her husband, Peter, and two children since 2019. Having grown up in Utah, she loves the small-town, close-knit feel of the District 67 community. Shanna has a background in non-profit communications and has worked for food banks, arts organizations, and universities. She’s also a fiction writer. Her short stories and flash fiction have been published in many literary journals. She’s at work on a novel.

Alex and his family have lived in Morton Grove since 2010.  Currently his two children attend Hynes Elementary School and Golf Middle School.  Alex works in the hospitality industry and leads many philanthropic initiatives across his organization.

Katie grew up in Morton Grove and is Golf 67 and Niles North 219 alumni. She returned back to Morton Grove back in 2019 with her husband and children. She is known to wear many hats but has an extended background in the medical and financial investment fields.

Noel grew up in Morton Grove and graduated from Maine East High School. Noel earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago and went on to obtain his CPA license. He was elected to the Board of Education in 2021. In addition to his work as an accounting and tax professional, Noel is also an accomplished content creator. His YouTube channel focuses on simplifying taxes for everyday folks, and has garnered a small but growing following. He and his wife have two sons who are currently elementary students in the district.

Digesh moved to Niles as a three-year-old in 1986 and grew up in this community, moving to Morton Grove in 2010. Digesh's passion for education as a foundation for success and ensuring a bright future for all children of District 67 led him to run for the School Board. He holds a Master's in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management upon which he has built a strong career in data, analytics, and digital technology. Digesh has three daughters -- one at Golf, one at Hynes, and a third who will soon follow the Cardinal path!
